Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

My mom and I promised Maddie we'd take her to see the new Lion exhibit at John Ball Zoo yesterday, and we did! They were absolutely beautiful, especially the male. We learned from the zoo staff that he doesn't quite get along with the two females yet (who are sisters and tease him a lot), but they are hoping to mate them within the next couple years and have babies! Can't wait to see them. Anyway, we all had a blast, even through the rain.

It's Gracie's turn to see them next...maybe when Aunt K.K. gets to hang out with you on July 2nd and 3rd?!?!?!:)

Congrats Brogan!!

Today Brogan recieved an extremely complimentary award from Coach Steve Majerle during the closing ceremony of the Rockford basketball camp. Brogan recieved the "Best Summer Camp Coach" award, which Coach Majerle has only given out two other times during his 23 years of coaching. Brogan was such a motivational coach to the kids at camp that Coach had parents calling him at home asking to have their kid be on Brogan's team! Congrats, Brogan! We are so proud of your hard work! :)

3 Years and Counting...

Today is Austin and I's third wedding anniversary! We have actually been together for ten years now, and every day gets better and better. We have spent the best of days and the worst of days together over the past decade, but I wouldn't want to be with anyone else on those days, that's for sure! I cannot believe it's been three years already...time sure flies when you're in love! :) I love you more than you'll ever now, Austin Ryan Bibler!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the hands down best Dad we could ever ask for!! Thank you for all your continuous love and support year after year. We've also been thinking about you all day too, Dad Bibler. Love you both more than words can say. :)

Happy 24th Birthday Austin!

Friday was Austin's birthday, and we spent the whole weekend celebrating with friends and family! These are pics from tonight with Austin's Aunt Kelly, her two sons Dylan (who is pictured with both Austin and I, and we also celebrated today as it was HIS birthday!!) and Christian, their friend Alex, Austin's Grandma, mom, Blake, Brogan and me. We ate dinner at the good ole Corner Bar, watched the Start of Summer fireworks, and then had cake back at Mom Bibler's house.

Fins Up

Well, we finally saw the man with our own two eyeballs. It was an amazing show, as expected, and BY FAR the BIGGEST party we have ever been to. So much so that I cannot go into detail...at all...

Never will you see more leighs, more tropical shirts, more hibiscus flowers, more flip flops and hear more steal drum music than at a Buffett concert. We were really in our element there!

Anywho, can't wait for his July 26th show near Chicago!! We love you, Jimmy!! We are true Pirates and Parrotheads, and will be forever!

Jimmy Buffett...here we come!

This coming TUESDAY is the big day!!! Austin, my sister Kellie, her boyfriend Tony and myself are traveling to Clarkston, MI to see Mr. Buffett LIVE!! Somehow or another, as self-proclaimed Parrotheads, this is Austin and I's first Buffett experience. We have been huge, devout fans for years and years, and are now going to see him with our own eyes!! T-minus 3 days until we take these tickets to paradise...

Happy 3rd Birthday Maddie!

Today we celebrated Maddie's 3rd birthday!! We got her a Dora the Explorer Patio set. Hope she likes it! She had a blast, and was cute as ever in her pretty dress. Happy birthday, Maddie! Uncle Aukin and Aunt KK love you more than you'll ever know. :)

New Neighbor

This giant guy was in the lot next to us yesterday. The picture doesn't do him justice....he was HUGE (as in, sea turtle huge)! There were cars pulling over left and right to see him, and I was the only moron who went up to a SNAPPING turtle to take his picture!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent yet another Memorial Day weekend up at the lake. The boys played in the water as much as they possibly could, and then were completely tuckered out at night (and still are right at this moment)!! Sun, Nintendo Wii, beer, movies, HUGE bonfire and the lake...what more could one ask for?

Baby Boes

Benjamin Ryan Boes was FINALLY born yesterday!! Kristi, who has been one of my best friends for YEARS, did an awesome job and as always was such a trooper. :) Ben weighed in at 8lbs, 4oz and was 19in. long. HE IS SO CUTE, and I can't wait to watch him grow!!

Congrats to Kristi and Ryan (both pictured above in their first family photo!).

Poets and Pirates

Austin and I saw Kenny Chesney last night for the 4th time, and he gets better every year. We were on the floor, about 10 rows back, so we had great seats. We almost bought tickets again for tonights show, but decided it was a late enough night last night (and we had one too many Cruzan Confusions!). Good times...can't wait to see him again next year!! :)
