Our "Little" Brother Goes to Prom

Still can't believe that Brogan is a Junior and old enough to go to Prom (let alone the fact that he'll be 18 this December...YIKES!!). Anyway, yesterday he went to Prom with his beautiful girlfriend Tessa. He got to take my mom's Cadillac....something even I don't drive often!! Just goes to show how Brogan is loved by all that know him! Yes, there are many pics, but we're just so proud of Brogan and had to share!!

Prayers Requested for a Speedy Recovery!

Thoughts and prayers are requested for my mother-in-law, Susan Bibler, who just got out of surgery this morning. She had several parts of her knee repaired. The damage was done from a numer of falling spells (but she's really not that clumsy!). Austin took the day off to take her to the hospital/take care of her for the day. He called as soon as surgery was done and the surgeon said everything went very well. She is in recovery and should be able to come home within a few hours! Then comes the hard part...the recovery...hence the prayer request! Thanks!

Best Relapse Show Ever!!

Austin, Lauren and I went to see perhaps Relapse's best performance ever. They were recording a live album at the Whiskey Lounge on Friday night, and they sounded amazing. Although I had one of those headaches that was so bad I'll never forget it, I am so glad we went to see them! The bottom pic is of my cousin Claire and our basically-cousin Tim (her boyfriend), who is the lead singer for Relapse. I think Claire and Tim have been dating as long as Austin and I! Hope to see you guys again soon!

Baby Boes :)

As hard as it is to believe, another one of my best friends since forever is going to be a Mommy in about 4 weeks!! Kristi Boes (formerly TenBrink) is due mid-May, and my Mom, Kellie and I went to her shower last Wednesday. While she has gained a mere 8 pounds, her belly is definitely filled with a big baby! We cannot wait to meet you, Benjamin Ryan Boes!!

Gulf Shores 2008

Well, the time has come and gone. We had a great week (with the exception of a few cloudy days) of beach, family and friends. All we have left to do now is wait for Gulf Shores 2009!!

The Day Has FINALLY Arrived!!

We are leaving early this evening to head down south. There will be many pics coming soon! Here's to a safe trip for all the Hosford's traveling south this week! See you in a week!

T-Minus 55 HOURS!!!

Aahhhh...only 55 hours until we leave for sun, sand, family, drinks, Royal Red shrimp and more SUN!! Can't wait...and I've been updated from my parents about every hour since they left yesterday (shortly after noon), and they are currently in about mid-Alabama and it is 70 degrees (and that was at 8:30 this morning!). I cannot wait to see green grass and flowers!!! They are calling when they arrive so I can hear the waves of the ocean! Here's to a safe trip and a speedy 55 hours! :)

Over the weekend we got to see our friend Dan one last time before he daparts for Iraq. He was on leave this weekend and we met up a couple of times. Dan married one of my dearest friends Jennifer (above) back in November, and we've gotten to know him quite well over the months. When Joel, Dan and Austin get together it's T-R-O-U-B-L-E! Best of luck to you, Dan, and we look forward to seeing you next winter!

Happy Birthday Dan and Tom!

Dan and Tom turned 28 on Friday, and we had a fabulous family dinner. The b-day boys had King Crab Legs (as you can see...they were HUGE!), and we all enjoyed each others company. Maddie helped pass out their presents (as you can see in the pic w/ Austin), while Gracie twirled around and around until she collapsed! The girls wanted a bath, so Kellie and I ended the night giving them a bubble bath. Happy birthday to the two best brothers in the world! :)

Too Small T-Shirts

Tehehe...Austin and I got these shirts for the boys last time we went to Key West, which was a couple years ago, and yesterday we put them on the boys and they were WAYYYYYYYYYY too tight! We got quite a laugh out of this look...the look of having gained a few!

3 MORE WEEKS!!!!!

Cannot wait...three weeks until we leave cold and cloudy Michigan for warm and sunny Gulf Shores, Alabama!! God, if there is any way you can warp speed the next three weeks, feel free! :) Here's a pic of us from last year (look at the beach behind us!)

District Champs!

So, I am a little late posting this, but the Rams are this season's District Champs! They beat Greenville on Friday night 60-45. Brogan had yet another great game, as did the rest of the team! Tonight is a HUGE game against Jenison to see how much farther they'll go. GO RAMS!!

33 Days...
