Lake Fun w/ the Hosford Fam

While they were up for the big surprise party (see allllllll those details below!), Austin and I took Dan, Tracy, Gracie and Lauren for their first Townline Lake boat experience, and Maddie and Kellie came along too (both had already been on the lake!). Mom and Grandma stayed behind. The girls went swimming, splashed around and ate snails (well, Gracie did...Haha!). We had so much fun with you all and can't wait to do it again soon!! :)

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we had a surprise party for Mom Bibler on her 50th birthday!!! We had her friends and family come from all over (many from out of town or out of state!). Brogan, Jordan and I drove her up to the lake blindfolded where everyone was waiting, and when we took off the blindfold and....SURPRISE!! She claims to have known nothing, so she says she was truly caught off guard. Happy birthday to you, Mama Bibs!! Here's to 50 more...:)

Gracie's First Trip to the Zoo!!!

Austin and I were so thrilled that we got to tag along for Gracie's first ever zoo visit, just like we did for Maddie!!! :) Gracie loved all the animals and was wide awake up until the bitter end. The animals sure wore her out!! We were there for a good 3+ hours!! Dan and Tracy, "Papa" Carlson (Tracy's dad) and Austin and I all went and had a blast on a beautiful, memorable day! Thanks for letting Aunt KK and Uncle Aukin tag along, Dan, Tracy and Gracie! :)

Another Ram Victory

Tonight the Rams played East Kentwood and won 28-7. Brogan had several superb hits! Next week we'll travel to Grandville for a BIG game! The top pic is of Uncle Austin and Maddie (with Brogan's number on her cute little cheek!). Maddie is a pretty big Brogan fan, and was constantly saying "Go Brogan!" and "Number 2" while holding two fingers up (sort of!) in between her craziness!! :) The bottom pic is of the Rams singing the Ram Victory Song that they sing after every win! (Sorry about the huge head that was in the way)! GO RAMS!

SHE DID IT!!!!!!!!

We knew she would anyway, but here's the proof that Jessica climbed to the top of Mt. Rainier!! Here's a tidbit that we didn't know, and you may not know, but Mt. Rainier is the tallest mountain in the lower 48 United States!! Wow! So our beloved "basically sister-in-law" Jessica just did the unthinkable. She said that this hike was the hardest thing she has ever done physically and psychologically. Way to go, Jessica!!
P.S. If you want to read about it directly from the amazing (and sore!) woman herself, visit her blog at http://www.itsasweater.blogspot.com/.
